The ForageOrb is a foldable fleece ball with dozens of layered pockets your dog has to sniff through to find their food. There's no button to press, no trick to learn, just a nose doing what it was built to do, working through fold after fold until the last piece of kibble is found.
Scent work is one of the most tiring things a dog can do. It's not the running or jumping that exhausts them; it's the concentration. Ten minutes with the ForageOrb and most dogs are noticeably calmer, settled in a way a walk alone rarely achieves.
The ball folds flat when you're done, washes in the machine, and opens back into shape ready for the next session. Start with treats near the outer folds; once your dog gets confident, tuck food deeper inside.
Good for: dogs who bolt their food, dogs with too much energy and not enough to think about, and any pup who needs something genuinely satisfying to do.

I was disappointed with the fabric it's made of; it's more like a filter, very, very thin and doesn't hold its shape. You can also see the plastic joints. It's a shame, I have one made of very thick fabric that works perfectly.
A good ball, dense, large, and the color is beautiful. The price is lower than in Russian stores.

Our dog is currently unable to play with his usual toys, due to a back injury. I decided to get him a snuffle mat for some mental enrichment, as he was showing signs of depression. I began my search for snuffle mats and I wasn't too sure how mentally stimulating they would be. Most of them have minimal hiding spaces or very obvious hiding spots; resulting in 5-10 mins of interaction. Then I stumbled across this snuffle ball. The price was higher than I expected but I thought in the very least I could purchase it and see if it met our needs. I'm so glad I spent the money because it's durable, washable & it kept our dog busy for 50 minutes! I couldn't believe it lasted that long!!! I used his kibble (1/4 cup) & tucked them into the crevices of this ball. They stayed in place, even as he was carrying it to his bed and moving it around on the bed. Relying on his nose to find the kibble and having multiple hiding spots helped slow his hasty eating habit as well. We've used it everyday & he's been entertained for 45-55 minutes every time. I specifically suggest buying this snuffle ball vs. the other ones that are cheaper. Why?... because we also picked up a few cheaper snuffle ball options and they were a huge disappointment. In comparison to the others we purchased, this particular ball has way more hiding spots(3.5 times more, which leads to longer interaction time), it's washable, it doesn't have any wires or plastic pieces your dog can chew on, it's a decent size for most breeds & it's made of good quality fleece (others were tearing or shedding up on taking them out of their packaging). Overall, we'll continue to use this snuffle ball until it needs replaced & we'll definitely buy another one when that time comes. It also came in a drawstring bag which comes in handy for taking it on the go, we used it at the park & taking it with us when we travel. This ball has been a lifesaver! My puppy broke her leg and it is one of the best things to keep her occupied, happy and soothed! My other dogs are jealous and will have to buy a couple more for them! Not sure how it would hold up with a super chewer.

This snuffle ball is a fun enrichment toy and does a great job keeping dogs mentally engaged while they search for treats. It’s a good concept and works well for slowing down eating and encouraging natural sniffing behavior, especially for calmer or less destructive dogs.However, it did not hold up well against my large breed puppy. The fabric pieces were too easy for him to pull out, and it started falling apart quickly once he got more determined with it. It is better suited for light to moderate chewers rather than strong, persistent ones. I really wanted to love this!

I thought i would really struggle myself with getting the food or treats into this ball, but was pleasantly mistaken. The way this is constructed leaves plenty of spaces the push food into without it just falling out. And let me tell you, it can hold a lot of food if you want it to. We can easily get about a cup into it.It has definitely helped keep our food obsessed dog not just entertained with a puzzle, but also helped slow her eating down. We've tried a few snuffle mats and they do not work for her. They are not a challenge, even the different texture ones. This ball, however, gives you enough of a fun challenge that it can take her 10 to 15 minutes to roll this around and get all the food out. Which helps tire her out as well. It's been fantastic and we'll definitely replace it when we need to. (But I don't see that galleries for a while. She's shockingly gently with it.)One other thing if note: We love that is machine washable as well.
